Mr. Mayfield, I dropped in to the Playhouse tonight, advertised as an Ira and George Gershwin night with my wife, a Gershwin fan, and was quite disappointed. Upon paying my $30 cover, which makes a lie out of the 7 nights a week, no cover, advertisement on the website, I was greeted with a bunch of Horace Silver tunes, which are great, but, once again, not as advertised for the evening. i expected quite a bit more professionalism from a venue with your name on it. If this was to be expected, then I will simply continue to give my money to venues on frenchman st., and avoid any more clubs with your name on it. You can have the tourists.
